Inquiry
Use the form to state the instructing party, the type of proceedings, the question at issue and any deadline. Health data does not belong in the form.
Instruction clarification
The expert reviews the question, the documents, possible conflicts of interest and the time frame, and responds with an assessment of whether the instruction can be accepted.
Fee agreement
Before work begins, the parties conclude a written fee agreement.
Examination and evaluation
The documents are transmitted via an encrypted channel named by the practice. This is followed by the file review, the examination and the evaluation.
Expert opinion
The opinion derives its conclusions transparently and states the limits of its evidential value.
Fees
Remuneration is governed by a written fee agreement. It sets out the scope of services, the billing basis and the expected time frame. The calculation takes into account the question posed, the volume of files, the examination effort and the form of the written report. The expert states the fee rates in the offer responding to the inquiry.
